About

Sisters in Spirit (SIS) provides a nurturing environment for women across the age and color spectrum that:

  • Inspires harmony in everyday living
  • shares resources to empower;
  • offers information and support that nourishes the soul;
  • balances our mental, emotional and physical well being; and
  • promotes inner peace and heightened spirituality.

Our Vision:

A world in which women live consciously and harmoniously to enhance their lives and to positively impact the lives of those with whom we come into contact. Where we consciously provide the products and services we need to serve each other and humanity to foster economic empowerment.

Our Mission

SIS aspires to nurture a woman’s desire to live a more harmonious, spiritual lifestyle by sharing resources, information, and inspiration to aid women of all ages in making better life choices. We encourage women to look beyond the pressures of our daily physical existence to allow the inherent peace within each of us, and to share that love and peace outside of ourselves. This is expressed in better relationships with family, friends, coworkers, and through volunteer efforts that help others through love and spiritual contact.

As women, we all have basic shared interests for ourselves and our families. That is why SIS is dedicated to blossoming a woman’s spirit through sharing what stimulates a woman’s passion, providing exposure to that which brings women joy and enables us to stretch and growing our awareness to get the most out of this life experience.  SIS does this in the areas of health and nutrition, education, business, economics, parenting, partnering, sexuality, and the many other areas that impact a woman’s life.

We partner with respected resources in these areas to bring you valuable information and tools you can readily use to enrich your daily life. In July of 2012, SIS  launched the Financial Literary Empower Program for Women and Girls (FLEP) in partnership with the National Association of University Women.  This program was designed to convene a cadret of financial professionals to provide financial literacy education to teens and young women through web based and live learning sessions. Member Chapters

SIS’s efforts take place on a national level and within local chapters, which we call Inspiration Circles. Members form teams to put into action goals that include Directing and Assisting Youth toward Success (DAYTS), Entrepreneurial Interests (EI), and Financial Literacy Empowerment Program for Women and Girls (FLEP) and/or other causes individual circles may identify. Each team approaches everyday issues from a conscious perspective.  SIS resources are made available to you via our online publication, Fluid Magazine, SIS Empowerment Podcast, community forum and blogs.
We invite you to join us on our journey of self-empowerment and inclusiveness. SIS will profile the views of women of all ages from across the globe, from diverse  backgrounds,  religions, cultures, age groups and perceptions.  Our motto is “Infusing Harmony into Everyday Living.” Learn More About SIS Membership.
