    Solar chakra energizing foods:
    Granola and Grains: pastas, breads, cereal, rices, flax seed, sunflower seeds, etc.
    Spices: ginger, mints (peppermint, spearmint, etc.), melissa, chamomile, turmeric, cumin, fennel

    Yellow fruits & vegetables

    Suggested raw juice:
    2 yellow apples, 1 yellow pear, 1 yellow squash, 1/2 a pineapple, 1 yellow heirloom tomato, 1 lemon with skin;

    or for less sugar: 4 stalks of celery, 1 cucumber, 5 leaves of green chard, 1 bunch of spinach, 1/2 bulb fennel, 1 lime (skin removed)

    Alternative vegan meal: Chick Pea Curry

    1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
    2 tsp ground coriander
    1 tsp ground cumin
    1/4 tsp ground turmeric
    2 tsp nutritional yeast
    1 tsp fresh ginger, minced
    2-3 medium cloves garlic, minced
    1 tbsp olive oil
    1/3 cup water
    1/2 tsp tomato paste from tube
    3/4 tomato, chopped
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 small carrot, chopped
    1/3 bunch spinach, chopped
    1/2 tsp salt (more to taste)
    to taste garam masala

    1. Heat medium pan with lid and add oil. When pan is hot, add onions and saute for 4-5 minutes until onions are translucent.
    2. Add spices, ginger, garlic, tomato paste, and carrots. Stir to coat, and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
    3. Add tomatoes, chickpeas, salt and water. Stir to combine and cover the lid, and cook for another 5 minutes or so.
    4. Fold in spinach and cover the lid and cook for another 4-5 minutes. Stir in nutritional yeast. Sprinkle with garam masala and more nutritional yeast and serve.
